Facility Home Page
Training slides introducing the CenterPilot facility home page and what each area of it is for — a useful orientation for new staff at a site.
Reading the colour codes
The facility home screen uses colour to show where each scheduled meal stands, so you can see what still needs attention without opening anything.
| Colour | What it means |
|---|---|
| Red | No meal scheduled |
| Yellow | Meal scheduled and ready for attendance |
| Green | Meal scheduled and attendance taken for the meal |
| Purple | The quantity of food served was not enough for the number of participants marked in attendance |
| Yellow circle, red outline | Planned meal components were edited, or the number of children expected was adjusted, and attendance has to be re-saved |
| Dark green | Attendance was re-saved after the edits and the meal is complete again |
Purple is the one worth chasing down the same day. There is a separate walkthrough on correcting point of service purple errors.
The milk summary
The milk summary shows milk by type (skim, 1%, whole and alternate) across three figures:
- Planned is calculated from expected meal attendance at all scheduled meals.
- Served is calculated from actual attendance by age at each meal already served.
- Purchased is calculated from the receipts you have entered that include milk.
The grid warns you when you are in danger of running short of milk for upcoming meals.
